Marcio and Custom Home Improvement did an amazing job on our bathroom renovation.  Marcio walked us through every step. His employees were all professional and cleaned up after themselves every day.  The timing and pricing was as originally agreed to.  I would have Custom Home renovate my entire home any day. We hired Márcio from Custom Pro Home Improvements when we moved to Chappaqua in September 2020. I had a long list of things I wanted to have done in our new house but really had no idea where to start. Mostly cosmetic but some things I needed a creative partner to talk through. He was extremely thorough, took his time and gave me a better idea of what would work and what would not.

His team of painters, ‘flooring guys’ and electrician are all wonderful and do a fantastic job.

He has painted all the main hallways(entry and upstairs), dining room, and two bedrooms(so far). Put in wood flooring in our primary bedroom and demoed my closet. Had his electrician put in LED recessed lights in our bedroom and installed many light fixtures.  Needless to say, we think he’s wonderful. Looking forward to working with him and his team on some bigger projects in the next few years.

We were lucky to have been referred to Marcio and his team through a neighbor with whom he has worked. They have now remodeled two bathrooms, one of our living spaces, built in an office and painted a good chunk of our home. We love it all! We worked with Marcio to renovate our 100 year old house before we moved in.  From the start, Marcio was dependable, on time and always reasonable.  Marcio provided expert input on our project, making suggestions like widening doorways to make the house feel more open, and was never phased by any surprise we uncovered as the work continued.  Marcio and his team painted the house inside and out, redid all of the floors and installed a breathtaking Shaker fireplace (among many other custom upgrades).  His team also installed a custom designed patio and new stone walkways in and around our house. Marcio made our house look like a brand new home.  He is a true professional and a joy to work with. I am a real estate agent.  A few years back, a fellow agent highly recommended Marcio to me.  About a year and a half ago, one of my clients needed to put in a new kitchen and update three bathrooms.  We had interviewed 3 contractors including Marcio.  Marcio was always on time and was engaging with new ideas and suggestion for the project.  The other two contractors were vague about what was included and didn’t getting back to us promptly with quotes and questions.  Since then, two of my clients have used Marcio’s service for the renovation of their home in Westchester.  Both were moving up from Manhattan and are very happy with Marcio’s service and professionalism.  Marcio is always on time, and patient with my client’s questions and made good design solutions.  He is computer savvy and uses a kitchen design software so that you can see how the kitchen will actually look on the computer.  That really helps my clients to envision the final product.  Even when the job is done, he is always there to help if you have minor touchups or questions.  He has become the contractor-of-choice when my clients ask me for a reputable and reasonably priced contractor. We used Marcio several years ago when we needed to upgrade a bedroom suite and bathroom. Not only did Marcio provide superb workmanship but the installation went seamlessly and was priced reasonably. So it was with that in mind that we've just hired him to do a complete kitchen remodel on our almost 100 year old house. Marcio has bent over backward to help us design the new space--even going as far as hauling his desktop computer loaded with software that provides 3-D renderings to our house to help us "see" the new kitchen. (A game changer for people like me who can't make sense of 2-D architectural plans!) Renovation during a pandemic is difficult, but we know Marcio and his team will go the extra mile to make our lives as stress-free as possible. And most importantly, the work will be done in a timely fashion and with meticulous attention to detail. We interviewed 6 contractors and are so happy we went with Marcio at Custom Pro Home Improvements. Marcio and his team remodeled 3 bathrooms, re-finished wood flooring throughout, built a beautiful wood stair case, new wood moldings and painted most of the house. His team was considerate during Co-vid, prompt and did a great job with everything. I had a great experience with Custom Pro Home Improvement. When I decided to renovate my kitchen I was expecting my second child. Marcio was reliable, always on time and someone you can trust. He was never too busy to talk to you. He is also very creative and with his design expertise he will help you with ideas for your projects and when most people say its a difficult experience to have any kind of home improvement in your house... I don't say this often but Marcio will prove you wrong.
